We’re kicking off the semester with an OG: Original Gathering - a night of worship, a word to launch us into the year, and time to connect in community. Whether you’re brand new or all-in, this is the Sunday to show up, bring your crew, and get plugged in.

Dream Team Vision Meeting
This session is for all new and returning volunteers! If you want to serve on one of our Dream Teams this fall, this training is mandatory. You won’t be able to serve without attending. It is essential that we keep everyone up to date with necessary training and on the same page as we serve together this semester.
Please note the time you should join us:
New Volunteers (never served on a Dream Team before): 2PM-3:30PM, Current Volunteers: 3PM-4PM
If you have a conflict you absolutely cannot move, please let us know ASAP. But we appreciate you making every effort to be there.
If you want to volunteer with us this semester and haven’t started the process yet, be sure to start by filling out a Dream Team application first. Once your application is completed, you will be contacted with further instructions.

Sometimes we just need to hear from someone who’s been there. Spotlight Session is a space where we invite a trusted guest - someone with insight, experience, and a heart for young adults - to share what God has been teaching them or a key part of their story they’ve grown in deeply.
It’s about honest wisdom, and encouragement for where we’re at right now.

Every story has something to teach us. Story Night is a special night where we hear from someone in our Mosaic faith community as they share what God’s been teaching them. It’s a chance to gain insight, wisdom, and encouragement through real-life faith journeys.

Summer In The City: The Mosaic Race
It’s the event of the summer! Grab some friends and sign your team up for a night to remember.
You’ll be travelling around the city, completing various team/individual challenges. All in hopes of winning the ultimate prize…the title of “WINNERS OF THE MOSAIC RACE 2026.”
We’re doing things a little differently this year!
Here’s how it works:
Sign up as an individual below (please note if you have a vehicle you are willing to use and how many people your vehicle can accomodate).
We will arrange the teams and will email you the week of the Race with more details (don’t stress — you won’t be in a car full of strangers!)
Arrive at MUN UC Parking Lot (1 Arctic Ave) at 6 PM on Sunday, August 9th for your first clue!
Registration is closed. If you didn’t get a chance to sign up, we’re sorry and we’ll see you next Sunday.
Summer In The City: Serve Night
This summer, we're taking a night to give back. Join us for Serve Night as young adults from across the city come together to serve our community. More details to come - we can't wait to make an impact together.

Summer In The City: Hike & BBQ
Lace up your hiking boots (or just your running shoes!) and join us for a fun afternoon!
We’ll meet at Topsail Beach for 3 PM to go on a hike together! This trail is 100% beginner-friendly, so no stress if you aren’t a pro — this is the hike for you!
When the hike is over, we’ll finish off the afternoon with a BBQ on the beach. If you’re skipping the hike, but joining us for the BBQ — find us on the beach at around 5 PM.

Looking for a laid-back summer hangout? Meet us at Bannerman Park for an evening of games, snacks, laughter, and community.
Bring a lawn chair or blanket, and settle in with friends old and new. Everyone's welcome!

Join us for a fun summer night of mini golf at Admiral John’s Mini Golf (150 Macdonald Drive), Dairy Queen, and great company! Whether you're competitive or just in it for the ice cream, it's the perfect chance to connect with other young adults and kick off Summer in the City.

YA Retreat 2026
Registration for this event is now closed.
YA Retreat
This is an annual Young Adult Retreat for Post-Secondary Students, Young Professionals, and basically anyone between the ages of 18-30 (you must be 18 on or before February 20, 2026). This is an intentional weekend away to grow your friendships, community and to grow in your faith. The weekend includes worship gatherings with speaking, along with perspectives of life and faith experience. There will be times of adventure and times to relax. It is a weekend that we look forward to every year! We'd love for you to join us
Special Guests
SPEAKER: JOËL ST JOHN
Joël St. John serves as the Bowmanville Site Pastor at Sanctus Church (Durham Region, Ontario). He is currently pursuing graduate studies at McMaster Divinity College, deepening his theological formation to equip the next generation for faithful discipleship.
Before pastoral ministry, Joël spent over a decade as an award-winning music producer. His work has reached millions of listeners worldwide, and he continues to use creative platforms to proclaim the gospel.
Known for culturally aware, contemplative, and honest preaching, Joël draws from Scripture, the wisdom of the early church, and the realities of everyday life.
Joël and his wife, Elizabeth, were married on March 25, 2021. They live in Bowmanville with their son, Christibueze.
WORSHIP LEADER: ANI OJIAMBO
Ani has loved music from a young age, growing up singing alongside her siblings. What began as a passion has grown into something she deeply loves and enjoys. Today, worship is more than just singing for her - it is an expression of her love, devotion, and affection for her Heavenly Father.
She is grateful to serve through music, creating space for others to encounter God’s presence. Ani is married to her husband, Khamadi (Jj), and together they are blessed with two children who continue to inspire and ground her in faith and gratitude.
